MR18

This is a quality razor for not a lot of money. The handle is the star on this purchase, nicely weighted, the right length for my hands and a really good grip. The head is decent. Moderate and simple I received a DFS on the first shave out of the box.

I'm adding on to my original entry because I just purchased the V3, V3A and V2OC heads from maggards to swap out on this. Tried the V3 this morning and it's better than I expected. Nearly DFS on the first pass. I can't wait to try the rest, but my, oh my is Maggards becoming my store of choice.

Following up after trying all three heads, I'm not really impressed with Maggard's open comb. The look lead me to believe it would be the smooth shave of my Parker 26c. It wasn't. Perhaps a few more tries and it will turn out it's technique. Both the V3 and V3A are outstanding. I hope they last a long, long time.
