Milk Churn

Item Description

My guilty conscience leads me here to share my experiences with some of my lesser-known Simpson's shaving brushes. First cab off the rank- the Milk Churn in Best Badger.
This is a terrific brush- a relatively small knot with a nice semi-bulb shape and an unusually turned handle. The knot is effective with both shaving creams and soaps and in spite of it's specifications, the Milk Churn has proven itself to be an outstanding performer on hard soaps. Recently this has become my travel brush of choice- it is great for face-lathering with a shave stick and fits nicely into my Mühle tube.
I might not recommend the Milk Churn to be the only brush in someone's collection, but it has certainly become an important part of mine.
