Well, I have a wee confession to make. I grew up where there is actual humidity and have been transplanted to a place so dry, the first aid courses don't cover drowning. Seriously.

Anyway.

I itch.

No, I mean, I I T C H.

I scratch with whatever is handy, adhering to that "men's rule" "if it itches, it will be scratched". I have two (one at home and one at work), of these:

Much to the horror of some folks, these are the best thing ever for skin this itchy.

Until now.

I have tried many lotions over the years without any real luck but I keep trying. After a discussion with the fine folks at Malaspina about the ingredients in commercial lotions, I took a chance on Kokum Butter Lotion.

Now, I have no clue what Kokum is (sounds like something you get from between your toes) but this stuff works. It does have a slightly girly smell but it's faint. You do have to wander around for a bit , waiting for it to dry but it's a much shorter time than common mixes. Once it's soaked in, you can handle a glass or your steering wheel or put your shirt on without fear.
