Lucido Aftershave

Item Description

This stuff does it's job without bragging about it. Apart from a slight menthol scent when first applied this stuff is unscented. It cools but nothing crazy like Proraso. It is also quite moisturizing and doesn't burn much at all when applied although it is an alcohol-based splash. A good choice for those wanting to wear a cologne after shaving and want an aftershave that doesn't interfere. Priced right too - about $10 (if you can find it).

Latest reviews

OK, I'm finally eligible to post a review. This stuff is great for people who are not big on fragrances. There is a slight medicinal, minty, menthol type scent to this, but I've grown to like it - it's very clean and crisp. The moisturizing properties of Lucido are nearly perfect for me, although on occasion it feels a little tacky after it dries (perhaps due to overuse). I generally tend to avoid anything with glycerin for this reason, but Lucido is one that I actually like.

If anyone is looking for a great unscented AS splash that doesn't stink like witch hazel . . . this is what you want/need.

This is a fine aftershave, an exceptional bargain at ~$10. I'd easily pay 2-3x as much. I have been looking for an effective unscented splash, this fits the bill to a T. The glass bottle adds to the quality experience of this Japanese AS. Nice subtle cooling sensation, the glycerin leaves my face feeling smooth and I don't notice any tacky residue. I like that I can follow it up with an EDT and have zero interference. A+

I paid $10.95 + shipping at the web itchy. Ditto previous reviews. I do notice a slightest scent, maybe medicinal would describe it best. Doesn't linger and isn't bad. Nothing horrible like witch hazel for instance. But I am getting over a cold right now, I'll edit this later if I find different.

Not mentioned previously is the bottle, which is pretty neat looking by itself, but what I like best is the shake out stopper. No glugging out excess with this style of stopper, so no waste. And a nice looking glass bottle:
