I came across Dutchy Bergamot when visiting a local barbershop and actually purchased it because I wanted to have the green enamel lathering cup that came with it and that wasn’t sold separately. At least not at first.
The scent however soon grew on me as a fresh and still manly alternative to sandalwood and heavier/darker scents like fougere or fern.
Right after first usage I noticed that the soap (soft but the way, definitely not triple milled hard soap) produced a nice thick and rich lather that provided both glide and post shave nourishment.
I enjoy using it. I love the Bergamotte scent. And it has longevity to its name as well. I purchased this puck over a year ago and am currently at 50 shaves at roughly half of the puck remaining.
