King C Gillette

I would much prefer the lovely logo head combined with the standard handle replica of the heritage, but if you buy both, you can swap. It's a decent zinc alloy head that gives a mild shave. Packaging is okay, and the included blades are pretty good.

Now this is a nice razor to start the double edged safety razor journey
It punches way above its price sticker!

It is on the mild side.
Shaves easy and forgiving.
Forgiving for angle mistakes.
It is nicely made good plating.
It looks good
It feels good
I like some heft this is not light.
Enough knurling to give grip could be a bit more.
Simple 3 piece design so it is sturdy.
It is serious affordable (bought mine for 8 euro in a sale).

Nitpicking
Blade tabs are exposed
Could have a bit more knurling.
It is not stainless so do not drop it it might break.
If you need aggressive this is not yours.
It is whispered that Gillette boroughs someone else’s head design.

Tip: works great with the Gillette kcg blades. But also with other (gsb, platinum) Get a sampler pack with medium sharp blades if you start shaving.
