Kapo (Karo) Fresh Shaving Cream (Green)

The rich and very stable lather is the only good part of this cream. (to me) What I'm about to say is just an honest and unbiased opinion which I hope won't offend anyone who's a fan of this stuff. I love mentholated creams, soaps, etc and I found Karo Fresh to be very much of a disappointment because it clearly says it has menthol, but the cooling effect is so subdued that you can hardly feel it. Another let-down to me was the dryness I experienced after shaving with it. I finished the tube but I'll never try to get it again. Bottom line - this is the only Bulgarian cream I can say I don't like.

First, I've been using that product for a month and a half at least, the tube is almost empty. I used it on a daily basis from Monday to Friday. It's now time to review this product.

It is unfortunate that the previous Alen Mak website in Bulgaria doesn't work anymore (http://www.alenmak.bg/). The new Alen Mak website (http://www.alenmak.com/) doesn't list the shaving cream. I hope it's not discontinued...

Price: This tube was given to me so I didn't pay for it. My understanding, those go for a dollar or two in Bulgaria. So, very cheap!
Quality: The product has a very thick consistency. It felt equal or better than an average product.
Scent: Very soapy, no old men scent in there, no powder. Much better than the original IMO.
Latherability: Very thick lather, very quickly. Excellent product.
Efficacy: No issues with cushion or protection at all.
Moisturizing Properties: Face did not feel dry afterward.
Packaging: Simple plastic tube, works well.

Conclusion: This is a very nice product and the only let down was that I thought there would be menthol in it. If there is, the concentration is so minimal that you won't feel much or at all. I didn't feel any menthol in there. Would I buy this next time? Yes!
