Herban Cowboy Boar

Pros: bargain priced
Cons: terminally ugly
I bought one of these brushes from my local natural food store. It was an excellent buy and I would highly recommend it. After a few shed hairs initially, I had no further problems with it. I do prefer the aggressive feel of Boar brushes. If anything, this was a little softer than most. AB

Got my Herban Cowboy brush about 11 or 12 years ago, which tells you how durable the thing is. Matter of fact, I just now found out what kind it is - caught a pic whilst surfing around. I had no idea. I've had Omegas, Rooneys, and Simpsons, but this little guy still hangs in there. Durable as hell, too. I'm not sure what kind of wood it's made out of, but there are no cracks, splinters, etc. - after over a decade. Still firm tips and quite soft, too. Seems to me, in retrospect, to last longer than these plastic handle boars you get on the cheap - and every bit as good.
