Gillette Ball End (Handle) NEW

Pros: great razor
Cons: none
I have three of these. One was purchased new by my parents in 1957, the other two have come my way by trades and ebay (a 1953 and an undated 1940's). These are great, affordable razors. The handle length (longer than the fat handle) is great, they have a nice heft to them and are great moderate razors.

This razor's been in my family for a while, though no one, save myself, has ever used it (hence the N/A for price).

It is a very good razor, perfect for beginners. The aggression is a little higher than a late model Tech, probably equivalent to a Super Speed. Yet, due to its open-comb design, it shaves like a very aggressive razor.

In my hand, it feels lighter than my Ball End Tech. Though, the handle is thicker, with a solid grip. Furthermore, the razor is very well balanced. Perfect balance, I would say.

I recommend this razor to anyone who can find one.

The image of the razor is not my own, it is from the B&B wiki.
