I bought two of these on Lazada Philippines (USD 2 each) for use as my SRs when travelling, one with carry-on and the other for when I use checked luggage.
The razor consists of the stainless steel scales and a two-piece blade holder that is clamped together by a hinged stainless steel cover.
A half DE razor blade is fitted so that it lines up with the two dimples punched into the blade holder. The two halves of the blade holder are then brought together and the securing cover is swung down to secure it all together.
The razor blade is securely held and the edge protrudes about 0.8mm (1/32"). The balance point when fitted with a blade and opened 180deg is almost at the pivot pin.
