This blend is absolutley oriental forward. The Latakia and Virginia help support a wonderfully unique smoke. Helps to open it and leave it in a mason jar for about a month to get the flavors to meld even more.
What I love about this blend is that the smoke is creamy. The orientals, especially with a little bit of age, impart a wonderful creaminess to the whole thing that makes this a treat to smoke. Of course the latakia and virginias play their part, but for me, the orientals are the star here.
