D.R.Harris Cologne Shaving Cream (and shaving soap),I'm reviewing the Cream here, were unique products. They must be discontinued 10 years or more now.... as well as their Rose shaving Products.
Why???, I wonder.
On opening the tub, you were hit with an astounding and uniquely powerful citrus cologne scent , very like their traditional Cologne. The shaving cream was quite yellow in colour. The cream was very citrus and bracing to use. The lather was great. The packaging was in Harris classic style, with unique Turquoise lettering on a cream or ivory coloured bakelite tub.
It was unique to D.R. Harris juat like their very pleasant to use Arlington Shaving Products.
Does anyone out there remember this shaving cream?
I contacted D. R. Harris in London a few years ago and I was politely told that the Arlington was quite similar, but with a "Lighter Base".
Sad to see an old unique product discontinued like that.
