Excellent razor blade. The sharpest blade I've ever used.

I wanted to share some praise for the Silver Star blade that a US vendor shipped as a sample. It belongs to a staple of Egypt-made brands according to my online research and seem to be very popular in the middle East and Asia. I loaded one into my gillette slim, and I had a very smooth ride with the slim set at 4, so lower what I usually do with sharp blades likes astra SP or feathers.

These blades are just awesomely smooth and very, very close. This review will not go into any details since you just have to try them. There's another review for PolSilver but it's different packaging and could be old stock. I'm reviewing the new stock from where I'm at here in the US. English speaking users might benefit from seeing this review since these blades are available here in the US at RB&M, although they will ship anywhere. PolSilver is similar to the Indian 7 o'clock...

Zorrick is the mid-level brand of Vidyut Metallics, with Super Max being the top brand, and Vidyut being the bottom brand. These are Indian DE blades, of course. Here is the Super Max version: http://badgerandblade.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=48004&title=-super-max-platinum-blade&cat=50 and http://badgerandblade.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=81536&title=-super-max-platinum&cat=50 (Duplicate reviews) I have never seen the Super Max platinum for...

Vidyut is the bottom tier line razor blades of Vidyut Metallics, which also makes Zorick and Super Max. These double edge razor blades cost 7 rupees for five blades, or about 20 cents.

This blade is very smooth, having a teflon like coating. The shave is SMOOTH and close. I achieve BBS'ness with comfort and my face is left with many layers of skin on it, unlike some blades that are very sharp and uncomfortable. When I was using the Israeli Crystal blades the shave seemed very scratchy, but the results weren't bad. Not so with the Barber blade, since each shave feels nice and comfortable. Applying aftershave with alcohol after using the barber blade produces very...
The pack says only "365 Stainless" on front in orange and black ink. On back it says: Made in India, Gillette India Limited, Bhiesfi-301019. MRP Rs 12.25. So the cost is 12 rupees, or about 30 cents, for a tuck. I see these for sale occasionally in India, as well as online, such as eBay, sometimes paired with the faux straight razor used by barbers that takes a half-blade. I was hoping someone with more experience with these blades than me would post a review. Failing...

I ordered these from Razor Blades and More. Super vendor, easy to deal with and great communication. I had heard all sorts of urban legend stuff about the carbon steel being able to shave the fuzz off of Superman's worst and couldn't wait to give them a try. Opened the nicely understated package of 10 and cracked one in half to pop into my shavette. It was so %^&%*&^$ rough that I stopped, rinsed off the lather and re-did the entire prep. OW, OW, OW! Yeah, they're sharp. You...

So I have seen the discussion thread on this type of blade here on the forums, but the packaging is different and do not know the origin of these blades. http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/117725-Gillette-Goal-DE-Blades?highlight=Gillette%20Goal However, I received a couple of these blades in a sampler pack that I purchased online. After going through many of the blades in these packs I've decided that these are hands down the best blade of the bunch (at least for my beard...

Blades seem to be one of the biggest YMMV things. So I find rating blades pretty subjective. The ratings are based on how they compare to what works well for me. The ratings are based on how they compare in performance to Red IP's which are my go-to blade. In my opinion these blades are sharp and smooth. I think the Red IP eeks out just a hair ahead in these categories. They cost a little more than Red IP's so I docked them some on price but they are still not really what I'd call...

With an EJ89, Dr. Harris Arlington and these Silver Star, from St. petersburg, Russia, gave me a BBS with just a few touch up after my normal 2 Pass ATG XTG shave. Nicely double wrapped, but with no annoying big drops of wax. All in all, a Very pleasant surprise.
Picked up some of these at a little gas station close to me. I think I paid just a tad (with tax) a little over a $1. They are thin compared to other blades but I do not see what benefit that offers. Its an ok blade. I can get 3 shaves out of them which is half what I get on most newer/modern blades. Would I buy again? More than likely no.
I bought two packages of 10 of these at my corner CVS for under $6.00---a buy one get 50% off on a second deal. I thought they were worth a try. These blades gave me reason to smile. Treets are my favorite blades for the Gem SE shavers, but I found this blade very similar in quality, sharpness and shave-ability. I'm pretty sure that in a blind test I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. I like these blades better than the Gem Stainless SE blades, including the Ted Pella blades...

I recently ordered and received these blades form Razor Blades and More. They were the only vendor I found that carried them, other than Feather. I bought them to try in my Valet razor in hopes that they would fit. Much to my happiness they did. The price I gave as a 7 because they were well over a dollar per blade, I paid $8-9 for a pack of 5. But the price can drop dramatically, to just over 50 cents per blade if one can get them from Japan. The quality is superb in my books...

These are the Wilkinson Sword blades made by gillette in india Price: I think I paid $1 for a 5 pack, but they are floating around out there on the interwebs for some ridiculously cheap price. It's a 10 Quality: They seem well enough made. Come double wrapped. Don't really see the point of this category since its a very short lived product. It's a 5 Sharpness: This is the blades HUGE shortcoming. People find the wally Wilks to be rather dull. Please, those are like a feather...

These are very good blades. I bought 300 of them from dridiot on ebay for $45 Canadian (plus shipping), last November. The best shaving related decision I've ever made, since starting wet shaving. The blades are very sharp, not Feather sharp, but it'll give you a great shave. It's also very smooth. The longevity is great; I can get 6 shaves, probably even 7 if I shaved every day of the week. That's enough to last decades. :001_smile The packaging is nothing to write home about...
Hiya, Although I rarely use injectors now, I do like getting em out of the shaving arsenal from time to time. Years ago, before switching to a DE, I used various injectors exclusively for a good 6-8 months. The right blade and razor combo was found after some trial and error, and then the shave was very good. My final set up was an M type adjustable with some NOS Personna 'Twinjector' blades. Yeah, I tried the various other blades like the ones from Pella, various brands from CVS and the...
