There's not much to say about this product really, it's a handy shaving stick to help you stop the bleeding when you accidentally cut your face during shaving. Just wet the tip of the stick, rub some aluminum sulfate on the wound, let it air dry and the bleeding will stop. You can get these sticks much cheaper but that's about my only complaint, I paid about 3 euro. A great Wilkinson Sword product nonetheless.

The following is text taken from the Headblade.com... HeadBlade Sport brings headshaving to a whole new level. Modeled after the hugely popular Limited Edition S4 (3,000 units made/sold for $75) the HeadBlade Sport comes standard with wheels AND triple blade technology. Put this thing on your rock and let it roll. I think i paid...12 dollars for this thing at target. It fits in your hand like a computer mouse, with the plastic ring passing through your ring finger Apparently...

I received a lathering bowl made by Sara Bonnyman & sold by Vintage Blades (linky below) from my wife as a Christmas gift. I really like this thing. It has ridges made into the bottom of the bowl that really helps to whip up a lather. That was it's biggest selling point for me. It's pretty heavy/durable & should last a lifetime unless you drop it.The only 2 drawbacks for me are it's size & price. I would prefer something just a tad smaller. I gave it a 10 on price since it was a gift but for...

My first ever wet shave was with Shave Secret shaving oil (http://www.shavesecret.com/) The website claims "The Best Shave Ever!" which I'm not so sure of, but I've gotten consistent results with it both as a stand alone product and as a base to put cream/soap on. It has that good 'ol menthol kick along with some pretty thick cloves. It didn't make my girlfriend swoon but it does its job. EDIT: Well, it did with some Arid Extra Dry, Old Spice 8 Hour Body Wash, Williams Mug Soap, and...

I am WAY new to the wet shaving experience. I am also afflicted with a rare disease that causes me to buy anything and everything that could even be related to shaving by even the most unlikely stretches of the imagination. During a trip to a local Walmart, I found "Moore Unique" Hydroglide Shaving solution and body moisturizer. What first struck me as odd about this product was the fact that it was to be delivered to the face by means of a spray pump. Further down the package I found out...

Since I started reading Badger and Blade I have wanted to try one of the "three Ts", and I especially wanted to try some of Geo F Trumper's products. The soaps, even just the refills, are around $17 each, so trying multiple products can really run up your tab fast. What can a person do? They can purchase the sampler, directly from Geo F Trumper. Upon arriving, you'll have a lovely pouch, with the Geo F Trumper name and logo. Empty the pouch, and you'll see something like this...

Get your minds out of the gutter guys, this is about a shower head. I use this in my shower and have absolutely loved it. We moved into a house with two bathrooms, since our two girls and wife were soon to be teenagers, our previous house with one bathroom would not do. On Sunday when all of us are taking showers at the same time, there's not enough water pressure, and we would run out of hot water before everyone was finished. So I installed "The Incredible Head". It give a hard spray...

I am surprised that there have not been more mentions of Origins Pre-Shave Oil by B&B members given the good quality and availability of this product. First, for those not familiar with the Origins brand, Origins is a subsidiary of Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. that was started in 1990 when the market for more natural, organic and environmentally-friendly cosmetics first emerged. Origins has cosmetics counters in most big city department stores, as well as a number of stand-alone stores...

It works! It really works! I've had 4 shaves with Ansgar's Scuttle, purchased through Mama Bear, and I'm really glad I gave it a go. It's large enough to handle my 32mm Shavemac with ease and begins to warm the lather while your mixing it. I use a superlather with every shave and a combo of Mama Bears unscented SS and Colleen's, The Gentleman's Quarter cream blew up while I was getting it mixed into a mound of rich, thick, hot lather. I like being able to splash some hot water into...

Kamisori Club Shaving Scuttle Overview: This is a small Japanese made shaving scuttle. It is produced by Kamisori Club, one of the only shaving speciality shops in Tokyo. This product is not currently being sold outside of Japan, but there was interest in on the forums so I decided to get one and write a review. Price: This shaving scuttle is quite inexpensive. It only set me back 1,680 yen (~$14.50 USD as of 10/18/07). Size: Outer dimensions: (13 cm x 9 cm) Brush...

Alright, so you have your valued collection of stright razors just waiting to be next in your rotation. But how do you keep those razors lookin good and rust free? Dovo provides a great product that not only protects your straight razors but your kitchen knives as well. It is known by one name.... STEROL I ordered this product from classicshaving.com but you can find it at most knife shops in your area. The first thing you notice about Sterol is the smell isn't quite so alcohol-ish as a...

I have been shaving in the shower for 20 years. For the first 10, I used the mirrors that attach a hose to the shower head to flow heated water through it. 10 years ago, I switched to a Z-Fogless mirror and was quite happy with it. It has deteriorated to the point of needing replacement and I found that they no longer made just a simple large mirror. Most of their new products have magnification or variable magnification. I tried one of the latter and the optical quality was terrrible...

First of all, let me state that I was in no way endorsed by Schwarzweisskeramik to write this review. I paid this scuttle with my own money. For convenience's sake, I will refer to this scuttle as the B/W ceramics large scuttle and to the company Schwarzweisskeramik as B/W ceramics. Price: at 86$ + shipping (64 euro + 17 euro p&p to Belgium), this scuttle may not come cheap, but that is soon forgotten once you hold this beauty in your hands. This is a handmade product from a...

Here's a very nice 7-piece stainless steel manicure set by Dovo. The set includes: Toenail clipper Cuticle scissors Nail scissors Tweezers Nail file Nail cuticle implements (two) The set isn't cheap at $135 from leesrazors.com, but you get a variety of items for grooming your nails. The fit and finish are superb, as the items are sharp where they're supposed to be, with no traces of machining or casting. The scissors cut very well. I'm particularly fond of the cuticle scissors...

I bought a box of these on a flea market for a few quid. No complaints about the price then! They come in attractive little boxes, like a matchbox, with a waxed paper wrapper, each one individually labelled. It looks very old fasioned, I like it! It has kept in perfect condition, however old, perhaps due to the "formulation antiseptique". This, along with the fact that a stick of compounds lasts for ages, is why I gave it 10 for durability. Smells like crayons though... The red...

If you need to clean your razor, and who doesnt, this stuff is the best ive found so far, and many other people can vouch for it. Theres really not much i can say about a cleaning product, the fumes from this stuff can get to you quick, so try not to breath it in. As soon as you spray this on anything, its like barbasol, it expands, quickly. I clean my razors weekly with this now. Before i used some soap scum remover called Kaboom, but i still had to scrub and scrub with a toothbrush...

Imagine walking into an old, weathered pub. The kind that has lots of antiqued brass (by time, not chemicals), wainscoting, oil lamps, a fireplace, and real wood and leather seating. You strike up a conversation with the gentleman next to you at the bar, and somehow the conversation turns to shaving. You know next to nothing about the subject. Only enough to somehow remove most of the hair from your face with some level of pain and discomfort. You find that this gentleman knows quite a bit...

What an absolute gem of a shaving accessory this is. I put my Savile 3824 and the Moss Scuttle in the sink, let it all fill up with very hot tap water while I took my shower. Emptied it and filled it back up with hot water again. Began to build lather on my face, (which I really like doing) and put the lather filled brush in the top of the scuttle and made my first pass. I couldn't believe how warm the brush and lather stayed when I lathered up for the second pass. My dad use to...
