I received this in 2009 from du212 (José). I have used this sparingly when I feel like treating myself, as this may be out of production. This produces the most impressive exploding lather that I have experienced, delivering a BBS shave. As with L'Occitane Cade it is not as moisturising as other French soaps. The scent is my second most favourite, only Provence Santé is supérieure. Vive la France.

I obtained my Terre d'Hermès shaving cream after a stay in a Dubai 7 star hotel, price wise it would be up there with Castle Forbes (mine was free or cost thousands depending how you look at it :tongue_sm). It has pearly appearance, so I lathered and made no attempt to use it brushlessly. It lathers, but is quite light, and takes several brush strokes to even match a French Shea Butter soap.
