For a very reasonable brush stand that can be used with most brushes consider a wooden doll stand. While visiting a Truefitt & Hill store, I noticed the display of leather cigar cases. The plain leather ones in black or tan were priced a $16. I though that one would make a great DE razor travel case that would be easy to show airport security what the strange looking item was that was showing up on the x-ray. I was right, it works with either of my travel razors, a FatBoy or a black long handle adjustable.
