This is a three piece slant razor based on the German Bakelite slant razors of the 1930's and 1940's. It is extremely light with a very pronounced slant on the razor. It is made in China of a polymer materiel it has a metal fastener to assemble it's three pieces. It sells for around $30.00.

This is a barber razor or Shavette that takes injector or mini-shaper blades. It has a wide shank and tang so you have better control of the angle of the blade when you shave. It has become the only Shavette I care to use.
1932 Cooper Open Comb Razor. 3 Piece Double Edge Razor. Special blades were made for this razor, but it will take regular DE blades with a little tightness noted in the center post. Gives a somewhat aggressive shave. Well balanced.

This is a Schick Injector Razor that was produced and marketed in 1973. The handle is shaped like a stick shift from a sports car with the head of a standard injector razor. Interesting is the fact that the ball of the handle fits in your palm and actually helps you control the shave! Yes, it's a gimmick, but not a bad one.

This razor is sold on Amazon for $10.99 with free shipping. It comes with to packs of Derby blades in a and unassuming black box. This razor is heavy, the handle is worth the price three times over. The two plates for the head are well done, and the blade exposure is enough for a moderately aggressive, but smooth shave.
Due to it's heft, care must be taken in your technique. But, I am amazed at the quality of this product for such a low price. It is made in Pakistan.
This is a three piece razor from Maggard Razors that will cost you under $16.00 and will give you a first class shave. There is good weight and balance. The top plates have to be aligned carefully to make sure the blade exposure is even. This is easily done, but it must be mentioned . I would consider it mildly aggressive, but you we'll find it hard to believe you can get such a great shave from a razor as inexpensive as this.
This razor is a stainless steel butterfly open double edge razor that is made in China. I wanted a spare double edge to place in an emergency shave kit. I went into a barber supply store and bought it for $4.95. It looked like the Welshi model that is being sold in the Micro-One as Seen on TV. In looking at them side by side it is not the same. It is lighter, thinner and the top rattles until it's twisted shut.

This is the same product as the Shavette sold in Europe as Bluebeard's Revenge. It is well made, holds the 1/2 DE blade tight. Very balanced, easy to control blade provided you have experience with a shavette.
