Smells like Grandpa, the smell lasts all day and its cheap.

Works OK. Smell is reminds me too much of a 7-11 Slurpee. I like Skin Bracer more for the classic scent.

Price - can't be beat...cheap enough to pull an adonellyr, and faceturbate on the couch for hours while killing off a bottle...
Quality - better than what you'd expect to pick up at the supermarket.
Fights Razor Burn - quite nicely, thank you.
Cooling Sensation - good amount of alcohol + menthol = WIN
Scent - good in the bottle, great on the face, lasts for a while and is old skool. Chicks dig it.
Efficacy - excellent...alcohol to kill, menthol to cool, glycerin to protect...all without dryness. Sweet.
Moisturizing - very good, considering it's alcohol based. The glycerin helps here too.
No Alcohol Burn - well, it has alcohol, and that burns, but not as bad as some others out there. I LIKE the burn anyway...

Is this the same stuff they discontinued here in the US?

This stuff is going to the front of my rotation. It is a great cheap AS with a great scent. It has a slightly milder version of the classic scent of AV without the alcohol burn. If you overdo it, it soaks quickly but a perfect amount lingers. Leaves a nice matte finish as noted from the review at the shave den but you can tell it is moisturizing. I much prefer balms over lotions, so I am loving this stuff

By the way, it doesn't cool as well as the classic lotions, but I definitely felt a nice rush of coolness upon application.
