I first came across this product while searching for a line of products to get my mild to moderate acne under control. Recently, I've been using it as an aftershave balm after applying Thayer's Witch Hazel or Booster aftershave splash. What I like about this moisturizer is that it's not too think...it has a milky consistency and absorbs into my skin more easily than Nivea Sensitive Balm. It's also protects well, since it was designed to be used by people who are using benzoyl peroxide to treat acne (which can dry out the skin). Another big plus is that it's non-comedogenic. A lot of balms I see out there have ingredients that are moderately or highly comedogenic so I must avoid them. The smell is nothing to write home about but not offensive either since it's unscented and pretty much smells like it's ingredients I guess. Oh, there is a tiny bit of alcohol tingle since there is a little alcohol in there but nothing extreme or what I would call a burning sensation.
I didn't rate it for cooling sensation or fights razor burn because this isn't really a cooling type product and I haven't really had razor burn when I've been using it. Plus I think razor burn is usually attributed to bad technique.
For the price, I don't think you can go wrong.
