X3 Razor, OSS Handle
Combining modern science with time-tested geometry, the iKon X3 is the third installment of slant-bar razors in the iKon lineup. It draws on the company's time-tested design, which mimics the efficiency of a guillotine. Paired with an OSS handle, the result is a super-close shave that most safety razors can't match.
This is an oil based soap with lanolin and glycerin. It has an spicy, fresh scent, which is not overpowering. The scent is light, you can smell it during the shave, but your bathroom doesn´t smell of the soap, if you don´t close the lid.
You get a good slick leather, which is easy to produce and very protective.
The post shave feeling is great. The scent is vanishing very fast, so you can use whatever scent you like after the shave.
You can get this shaving soap as a refill puck, in a...

Hello Everyone,
This is my first review on Badger&Blade. Recently, I bought this shaving cream and was so impressed by its performance, that I decided to review it here.
Prior to shaving, I soaked my shaving brush in warm water for sometime to soften it and also washed my beard with some warm water. Then I put a little pea size amount of shaving cream in a bowl, shook the brush three to four times to get rid of the excess water, and then started lathering. In about a minute or two...
The availability of safety razors in Hong Kong is limited to say the least. I was very apprehensive about erbe given limited reviews but had no choice. As it turns out it is a solidly built butterfly razor which gives an incredibly close shave. Being new to de shaving it did not give me any cuts. Though I could feel the blade so the glide was average but the shave was good. It is expensive at 350 hkd but for shavers in Hong Kong it's a good option. I would term the razor mildly aggressive...
A nice soap with fairly strong scent. Although it is a hard puck, the soap loads pretty quickly and it lathers well. 30 seconds of loading is plenty for a three pass shave. The scent from the soap alone last for three or four hours, but it's not over powering. Good cushion and decent slickness.
Elegant and refined, the Ambassador takes his time with the daily shave. Every part of the morning ablutions are a routine, carefully laid out and expertly executed. For such a man, nothing less than a stately and elegant razor will do. Refined, well-balanced, and diplomatic, three equally-sized rings are offset by a wide gulf of textured steel.
For the Smoothest Shave You Ever Had. Enriched with soothing Aloe Vera, moisturizing Coconut Oil, and a hefty dose of glycerin for good “slip” and a smooth, non-irritating shave. All natural ingredients means our soap produces a lighter lather than conventional shaving soaps, and will leave your skin soft and clean without residue and dryness. Works best when used with our Pre-Shave Oil and applied with a quality shave brush. But, if lost in some vast uncharted wilderness, you can lather...
Review of Pall Mall Barbers Shaving Products
The packaging of this product was great. It came in a nice black box and the containers, Pre and Post Shave with the Shaving cream. Instructions were in the box explaining how to properly use the products. Usually I would say I do not need instructions especially since I have used many products. Simpson’s Cream, TOBS, Proraso, and ETC. In this case though, the instructions were on point in terms of using the product. One Pump from each is all...
This is a three piece slant razor based on the German Bakelite slant razors of the 1930's and 1940's. It is extremely light with a very pronounced slant on the razor. It is made in China of a polymer materiel it has a metal fastener to assemble it's three pieces. It sells for around $30.00.
This soap is a wonderful performer. Great lather - slick, dense and very moisturizing, probably due to the shea butter. To build a good lather I suggest hydrating your bristle brush for a minute and then draining the water. Then just use a little water and build the lather in a mug. It turns out awesome. The cedar, woodsy, fresh west coast smell totally fills the room. Took me a while to like the smell. I admit that when I first purchased the puck I was not a great fan of the scent. However...
lemon and bergamot with some petitgrain and bittersweet moss, and this aspect reminds me of many older scents in the same vein of English Leather, Dunhill, or Chanel Pour Monsieur. Lying underneath that phase and waiting to emerge is a soft, tobacco-leathery note which seems to be paired with, of all things, wintergreen, as well as a light powdery-sweet element separate from the moss--from basenotes.net
