Ahhhh, she sure is pretty - no? Well, regardless of what name they are calling this model (sometimes it is framback, squareback, heavy, worked back, etc) it sure is one dreamy razor. Mirror polished, extra hollow ground singing blade doesn't just look great - this dog can run. While it has the usual **** poor signature TI etchings/gold wash, it is otherwise a wonderfully built razor, outstanding size, weight, manuverability, blade profile, this one's really a winner. The Square/frame/whatchamacallit's really are one of the "sleeper" TI's, as they don't get too much touting, but good lord do they shave like a dream. It almost feels like you are squeeging water off of a windshield when you are shaving with this thing, really a remarkable razor - but what else would you expect from a TI?
Although it can be a bit tricky to dial in and really "get there" like all TI's this one REALLY loves diamond paste, and after a few laps on a 4/8K - a little diamond paste, and these suckers are frightfully sharp. Great sheffield steel, wonderful heft, and just an overall outstanding razor you can really be proud to own and use. This remains to be one of my favorite razors
