I got this while I was stationed in a PX (military base store), in Arkansas. Having a newfound appreciation for DE shaving, etc., I had to try this stuff when I saw it. As described, it truly gives a great smooth shave (with or without a brush) without irritation or dryness. Its ingredients are botanical and vitamin enhanced.
I generally use soap pucks like Col. Conk, but this truly produces an enjoyable shave that is a step above others I've tried. My shave is so smooth and my skin is left very moisturized. My blade glides over it, like no others I've tried. What a lucky find.
On a patriotic note: The sticker on the jar is of the Presidential Seal and royalties of this product fund various philanthropic projects in both Washington and throughout the USA. I've seen it advertised online, outside of the US Military. I was able to get an 8 0z jar for $12.75, at the PX. Definitely worth every penny. I'd love too hear what you think of it. Give it a try.
