Pros: price, size
Cons: boar bristle
This is the non Van Der Hagen boar bristle I've owned. It's superior in stiffness and handle design to the VDH brush, but having had the VDH brush for several years, the tips on the old brush are much softer. I have been letting the soap dry in overnight on this little beauty, but it's still very scratchy. it does load very nicely and the beehive design is cool. I would imagine in a few months it might become a favorite if the tips get that fabled split. I'm still primarily a badger man. But for only $6 (bought at pasteurs in NYC) this is a bargain.
