A close call..

So I went head and ordered that Feather Japanese style straight handle.. I like it, really works with my head technique.. and then it slipped... the handle is plan smooth rubber, no texture, no roughness... it fell from my hand, I was topless... I exhaled sharply and took iron shirt posture and thought to myself "Its now or never to find out if this stops a blade" and it totally missed me, landed in the sink... my girlfriend saw me and thought I posing infront of the bathroom mirror... I feel embarrassed..
But the lesson is.. careful with the Japanese Feather Straight blade.. its slippery when wet and lathered..

Agreed! I started holding my breath at "and then it slipped." I'm kind of tense even as I type this.

The Feather wasn't damaged.. It still shaves good.. I learned to now rinse my "holding" hand when I rinse the blade ..
