Buck 120

While I wouldn't consider myself a collector, I do like knives and have a few of them. I have always been a fan of the standard Buck hunting knife, not because I am assured that they are superior to other knives, but simply because I like their aesthetics. To me, they're like "The P-51 Mustang Of Fixed-Blade Knives."

Picked up a Buck 120 with the Cocobola Dymondwood handle and brass fittings and it is one beautiful knife. Even the dark brown leather sheath is pretty. It was one of those "it looks even better in person than it did in the pictures" deals.

It will most likely never be the difference between my life and death in a survival situation and I have no real use for it other than to admire it, but admire it on a regular basis I will.....

Stock photo, I'm sure much better than any photos I could take of it:

I have the same knife with black handle and silver fittings. I carry it fishing, hiking and camping (all things I haven't done in a while). It's a good knife at a decent price.
