Ron, Sampsons is almost as good as Martin de Candre performancewise. It is more of a shaving cream that doesn't take many swipes to get a good lather.

WSP Formula T Ol’ Kentucky today. 20 seconds to load Doug Scharf/Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Barbershop w/Menthol aftershave.

After being on the road with the Family for the last 7 or so days on Vacation I can say that it is nice to be home. Relaxing morning shave today, used my new lather bowl for the first time and decided to break out a traditional 3 piece razor since I used TTO's while on vacation. RazoRock never lets me down so choosing it was a no brainer, the Nacet blade delivered a smooth drama free DFS. I finished off with some P.160 balm and some Chella Cool by PAA, they really knocked it out of the park with that one.

I forgot to post some pics from the last 2 SOTD's so I'll drop them in here, nothing special but they were both whiles on vacation in Pigeon Forge TN.
