The Fat and a Tech. It can't get better than this. The lather is great with the scent, slickness and cushion that is as good as it gets. The post shave face feel is second to none. The lowly tech paired with the Astra SP today leaves me with a face so smooth a baby would be jealous. Have a blessed day Gentlemen.

I did a side by side with the US and England made postwar Tech with the same blade, both with the Bakelite handle.

Postwar Tech Fat Handle Astra SP (5)
1WTG and 1ATG pass with a little cleanup got my very close to BBS. Possibly the best Tech Shave I've had.

It's been quite a while but I pulled out my 54 Ball Handle Tech yesterday and loaded it up with a new Astra SP and what a fine shave. I have been on a 6 1/2 month run with my 34C but it was my Birthday and the "54" is the year. Couldn't resist. Couldn't be happier with the results. Using up a tub of Cella so it was a great combo.

The postwar Tech is my favorite Tech and one of my favorite razors. The best Tech IMHO.
