Apple is great now! Not so much in the beginning. After I learned the half swallow, I was in good shape!

I use the merkur 34c HD with a feathers blade. For my lather, I use Taylor of Old Bond Street Cream. I have a inexpensive Escali badger brush and an antique aluminum shaving mug I bought for two bucks at a flea market. I finish up with an osma alum block and some Nivea balm for sensitive skin. So far so good, I'm just trying to hone my technique now.
