Sorry guys no pics again. Have a good reason though. Had some mild lestf sided lower back pain over the past few days, Friday night the pain floored me so I went to the local A&E....diagnosis was a 5.5mm kidney stone. So have been in Hospital. Meds and a stone passed in my urine and I'm back home with some anti-biotics and anagesia. Any how I did mange a couple shaves while on the ward,

Gillette Popular #47, Astra SP, Kent T9 Boar, BS Macca Root & Lucky Tiger Vanishing cream. No AS.

Cream: Dollar Tree Shave Gel
Razor: Canadian Tech, D slots
Blade: Bolzano (#1)
Brush: Left and Right Hand
Aftershave: Barbasol Pacific Rush

The shave gel from dollar tree...outstanding...a unique scent, kinda soapy, almost "mediciney"...no real lather, slick as goose ****, the second pass was one I've not experienced before...the razor just glided XTG, not a nick and no irritation, so smooth. End result was top shelf. Face felt a tad tight (in a good way) and super smooth. The scent has stayed with me most of the afternoon, very faint but there, great stuff.
Cost be damned, I'm looking for stuff that works first, price second, cool factor third, fourth fifth etc. I'll be using this gel more and more if I keep getting results like this. YMMV etc.

Afternoon shave today.
I was going to take the day off, but I just needed to shave... I guess I'm an addict. Hello, my name is...

Prep: warm face wash with Shea moisture utility bar
Soap: Proraso White Pelli Sensibili
Brush: HIS Synthetic
Razor: Maggard MR10
Blade: Gillette 7OC yellow
Three passes plus touch up
Post: cold water rinse
AS: Shea Moisture Tea Tree Bump Preventer and After Shave Elixir

Wow! BBS! I saw these two Shea Moisture products (they like long names 😄) on sale at my local Meijer, so I went for it, and I am glad I did. I don't think I'll use the utility bar as prep again - it wasn't bad, but I missed my usual Proraso. The real star was the Aftershave Elixir. This stuff simply rocks! You can read the ingredients below. It smells like a refreshing grapefruit, I really like the scent, and I don't even like grapefruits! The performance is even better than the scent - my face feels wonderful - smooth and moisturized. Go get some!
I'll probably review this elixir after a couple weeks of using it.
