• Razor: Merkur 37C HD Slant
• Blade: Polsilver Stainless (3)
• Brush: GDC Handle with Ace Shaving 22mm High Density Silvertip
• Cream: Taylor of Old Bond Street, Avocado Shaving Cream
• AS: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, double splash of aftershave

This week I will be using the Slant until Friday as part of the B&B Facebook Page "Big Razor Review" (although at the moment they appear to be on lockdown mode and no one can post anything new).


Day three of Slant week and the results were just like yesterday, an easy shave. Two passes along with light buffing produced a slightly less than BBS results. I will be retiring the blade after this use, although I could have pushed it.

It seems that I have been using the Gillette NEW in some form or other a lot lately. They are great performers and are easily obtained. They may look pretty rough when you first get one and, the gold plating is terrible (what might remain after 80 years) but, they can be cleaned up and polished to look very nice.
The Klar smelled wonderful this morning!
