Well i gave the Dubl Duck it's first ever honing yesterday then 50 on my bench paddle strop with a little chromium oxide 50 on the linen and 100 on the leather, she gave out a lovely smooth shave, not unsimilar to my other German square point the Maxotte razor, but it as a very unforgiving point on both those razors which i'm more than aware of.

Semogue 2011 LE FBristle 1 (#88) \\ Merkur 1904 w/ Red IP \\ 3P Pre Per E Post Barba \\ Santa Maria Novella Crema Da Barba \\ Nivea Replenishing Post Shave Balm

I think I found the best soap paired along with the FBristle 1 and its SMN. It lathers just perfect in a bowl then applying it on top of stubble. This brush is in its own league for a boar brush since the knot is so short lofted and uber dense. It finally sings with items I enjoy. Anybody else have this same brush or found a soap that works well with this SB? Have an excellent day, Friends!

Bela, from this angle, it looks as if that straight should have fallen off the soap! Have you used Blu-Tac?
