Used a Cremo stick thing that looks like an underarm deodorant.
People all say this stuff is great but I found it painful.
It was like putting lemon juice on a fresh cut.
It wouldn’t lather on my face either.
I suppose I’m used to lathering up in a bowl and then having my brush loaded so maybe I could say that was an issue but apart from that proviso I’d still not want to go through that again.
For me pretty much the whole art of a good shave is the lathering up and this just wasn’t good.
Sorry to Cremo for a bad review but it was awful for me.

I really have to hold myself back in applying Tabac, in order not to generate TOO MUCH LATHER. If I manage some restraint it is a lot easier to get the water content right.

I used Mystic’s Poggio dei Pini for the first time today. I tried it first with direct application on my face and then trying it with a brush in my scuttle. What an abject failure I was this morning. I couldn't create a lather if you paid me a million dollars. What a great scent though. I've used two of their sticks so far (this and Egyptian Dragon) and I've been very impressed with how slick the product is and how awesome the scent is on both. I highly recommend their product. Well done! P.S. I don't recommend my lathering skills!
