Fatip Friday

proxy.php

Razor: Fatip Lo Storto Originale (aka FOCS)
Blade: Polsilver Stainless (Vintage Polish manufacture, circa early 2000s) (43)
Brush: Simpson Special S1 Best Badger
Soap: RazoRock Green Label

This blade has had its ups and downs over its life, but its currently on an upswing, so the experiment continues. :thumbup1:

On side note, the RR Green Label is a great soap for a warm summer day. Crisp, woodsy, and very refreshing.

FaTip Friday Late Night Shave

Technically it’s Saturday here in California but I started the shave before midnight so Happy FaTip Friday Folks!

I didn't realize that Fatip Friday was a thing. Guess my timing was good today.
Hmm, Declaration Arko. I wonder if it would sell for $22 or so?

Clean. Confident. The peak of old school masculinity. Perfect whether you're heading to the hardware store on the weekend or just annoying your wife as she leans in for a snuggle.
Notes (in no particular order): Lemon Peel, Citronella, Lemon Blossom, Verbena, Jasmine, Lily-of-the-Valley, Moss

I could have shaved with the Fatip last night; I had 48 hours' worth of beard and it would have been excellent. But I wanted to see how it would handle a 60-hour beard on Saturday morning.

Answer: Beautifully. The Personna Red blade with 3 shaves on it now and the slant architecture of the FOCS is a great combo, though I've yet to have a bad blade/razor combo in the Fatip.

The shave with this slant razor paired with the blade was good. Easy, smooth, and comfortable in 3passes for a between bbs to dfs result. The blade is still good. The matching aftershave balm is absolutely awesome!! Matching splash is otw...

Rating 9/10 BBS

A nice Slantember/Fatip Friday shave today. I had moderate feedback from the Alum due to chasing BBS. This razor isn't normally a rough shaver, except when the user pushes it too far. No weepers and the Alum feedback is gone, leaving my face smooth, soft and irritation free.

Razor: Fatip Lo Storto Originale (aka FOCS)
Blade: Polsilver Stainless (Vintage Polish manufacture, circa early 2000s) (50)
Brush: Fine Stout 24mm Angel hair
Soap: RazoRock Santa Maria del Fiore

A comfortable shave, today, despite the advanced age of the blade.

However, I'm shutting down the experiment. 50 seems like a nice number. ;)
