Where is the Tallow?!

So sad. Hope the new version is as good as the old version. Last year I bought a stick refill, and earlier this year I bought a puck in the milk glass jar. I have no idea of they are the old or new versions, the boxes are long gone.
But I'm not going to chase all over creation for "old formula" Tabac. It's a great soap, but it's just soap.

In the for what it’s worth category, Hasslinger‘s soaps are indistinguishable between the tallows and non-tallow for performance and scents in the Aloe Vera.

Thanks for mentioning this. Hasslinger was my second favorite soap. I tried their non-tallow version, as soon as it came out and hated it. I'll have to give it another try.

I so lucked out. I received my order of 3 refill pucks and one in a jar today, from Peter Pan. All four have tallow.

I received my bowl from Fendrihan and it's the old formula so I'm very happy.

That was my impression as well. I didn't know it had been reformulated, and wondered why I was having such a hard time with it.

Haslinger has been reformulated again since then. This is the ingredients list for the newer Aloe Vera.

Once bitten. I have a plethora of really great soaps so I'll probably pass on it.
If they reformulate it again to the way it used to be, I'd consider it.

I've got just over 8 pucks and was thinking of getting another 3 old formula.(I know where they are)I was thinking i'm being ridiculous but now i'm not so sure.I'm 54 do you think i've got enough?I can't decide so i'll leave it up to you.

You can never have too much good soap. 1 puck is too much bad soap.

I think I have tucked away some Irisch Moos sticks, same base as the Tabac, just different scent.

Oh yes! But only if I can keep the knowledge I have gained throughout the years. That way I can skip the hard knocks this time around.

My Tabac supplier in Queensland has checked and his recently unpacked supply of Tabac sticks still contains the tallows. I order 10 which should last me about 5 to 10 years. (Tabac is not my only preferred shaving soap.)
