This evening of long smoking on the Patio: Wilke No. 911 in a BBB Silver Grain 534, a smooth billiard with a saddle stem. Next, Hal O' the Wynd in a Stanwell Zebrano 40, another smooth billiard w/saddle stem. Finally, Pegasus in a LePeltier glazed clay pipe. Laphroaig 10 on the side.

After mowing the lawn, time for a smoke and a beer. WC Off The Rails with a bit of Spill’sbane mixed in, in an Arley Curtz smooth Brandy w/bamboo shank. Next is Sutliff Ready Rubbed in a Radice Rind Classic 1/2 bent billiard. Coors is the beer.

I've been working this afternoon unpacking and moving boxes from the garage to an area in a basement closet. 14.5 years of pastoral ministry boiled down to several moving boxes. I gave away to a budding seminary student, nine boxes of books. I hate parting with books, but there is no room for them and I know my kids don't want to deal with them when the day comes. Besides, he can get some use out of them.
