Soap's scent is nice for me. Good strength leathery & smoky scent. Quality is dependent on loading...today's is abit less so kinda thin...Shave with razor paired with the blade was good. Overall smooth and comfortable for 3passes but own mistake results in a nicked on the chin. Aftershaves were excellent cooling for an oven-hot day.

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo .72 - MFG 2021, excellent mid range, well designed for great results, nice carefree shaving IMO.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP (Black)(4) excellent blade Sharp & smooth with good shaves from 1-5 for myself.
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24 mm Tuxedo knot- excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips + great scrubber & lather painter.
Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian sandalwood cream, nice scent with great lather qualities.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso red Sandalwood with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers =
Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 + a Gillette 7oclock SP(black).

| Comments | Coming to the end of this soap. Unlike the AP Shaving brush of yesterday, the Graydog had no trouble loading soap from the bit and pieces of the soap. At most, one more use of the soap. A nice, smooth bbs shave. |

Last night I used my son’s Shapton Progression to hone one of two old Thistle Cut vintage straights I have, the Persian. I worked it right up to the 30K stone, and now understand the true meaning of scary sharp. I usually blunt the toe point on my Non-round toed straights, but for some reason forgot. Never again! Two divots, one on my right cheek, and the other on my right neck as I was doing a toe down final mug pass will serve as a reminder in the future. The blade tip was so incredibly sharp that I never felt the occurrence. Styptic gel took care of things thankfully. I selected a Gillette New SC for what turned out to be an uneventful two pass noggin shave. I feel refreshed, chastened, but still very smooth!

PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
