I am astounded by the generosity of this community. I am deeply grateful to be selected, and thankful for the generosity of @bcgradstudent.
I have two college age sons now living at home due to pandemic. Last semester when the younger one went off to college he started DE shaving with a Vanderhagen TTO, a cheap badger brush, and a puck of Williams Mug. I started researching, and got started myself around Thanksgiving with a Merkur 34C and an Omega 48 boar hair. Of course the other son did not want to be left out. This hobby has brought us a new avenue of connection. Again, I am astounded that we will be so fortunate.
My wife and I have worked hard to develop habits of generosity and giving in our children. This is a great application of these principles for us. I am looking forward to sharing and contributing to the community as well.
