I’m curious about that brush. It looks like it is really stiff and course.

It is very much so. Brittle and scratchy helped by 100 + years age, but I doubt that it was ever soft by todays standards.

SE SOTD, Tue, Nov24th 2020

Razor: TNNSER 3D printed @twhite creation of many- Mfg,2019> Excellent mid range, I get excellent shaves with it once dialed in.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (4) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely the more you use it IMO.
Soap: Razorock lavender, masculine scent with excellent lather qualities with good post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi rainbow brown whiskers 26mm- excellent lather creator with some backbone & cloud like soft tips.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis with witch hazel + a dollop of balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my TNNSER 3D razor + a coated Gem blade.

Terrific! What a great scent to this soap. Powdery and spiced, and absolutely intoxicating. I need to get the A/S. The blade was not super smooth, but it still did the job well: my face is really smooth and feels really good. I've found the right touch with this razor and it delivers the goods for sure. Excellent.
