My new Wacker arrived today, it was shave ready, but not the edge I really want, should be tomorrow though. I guess that is only to be expected.
What I didn't expect was the bag of "Dr Dittmar", I guess its shaving soap but nothing in English. Its sort of grated so put some in a spare container and added a little hot water and squashed it down a bit, seemed to work just fine.

What a day.
Cleaned the Man-Cave last night, and got the part of my workbench (with the best overhead light) setup to start restoring some old “straights” I have on hand. I’ll be trying my hand at custom scales as well. (Just waiting on an extension arbor and buffing wheels to convert one side of my grinder to a polishing wheel).
Im off today, so I slept-in till 0900 hours.
Woke-up, had a light breakfast, did a quick 1.5 hour workout, then went on a fast 3-mile run.
Got home, showered, and now it’s “Papacito Time”.
I have no time restraints, so lemme whip-up a nice bowl lather, and pamper the face and noggin.
It’s almost noon...so why not chillax for the day and drink a room-temperature dark bier while I’m at it.
What a great shave today.
Crushing everything, both mentally and physically.

For how cheap you can find these razors IMO there’s not many better values in straights.
