Another great shave today. First time using the Phoenix and Beau soap and was impressed. Great smell, nice slickness, cushion and post shave feel. Smoothest shave with the TI.95 so far. 3 pass shave and a bit of touch up. BBS

Two first tries today - the LEA Classic shaving soap and LEA Classic aftershave lotion. Very impressed! The menthol cream inspired me to try their classic soap, which according to the description online has a sandalwood and moss scent. It is a nice masculine scent and you can detect a little bit of menthol too - gives it a not too dissimilar ‘deep heat’ sort of smell I think. Definitely one you can use all year round.
Merkur 42c was good to use as was old Frosty!

Some months ago, I bought a Mulcuto Slant new old stock from bay. This is a pre-war razor. Wrapped in the box, I decided to use it today. I like slants and most of my razors are slants.
This razor though, is the smoothest razor I have ever tried. Different in construction from new slants, but it is smooth and efficient.

Razor : Mulcuto Slant pre-war
Blade : 7 o'clock (2)
Brush : Simpson's S1 pure badger
Soap : Haslinger Schafmilch
Post : Alum
