My first Simpsons.
Just did a test shave and I have a felling that it is not going to be my last one..
Bought this brush years ago and just got around to restoring it. Maggards 26mm two band for the knot.
A brush I got a while ago and just been waiting on the knot to get here. Dont recall if I posted it or not. This handle is the tallest I've seen. Showing it next to a yaqi, grizzly bay, and a wildwest brushworks brush for size comparison. One question I have is is the inside supposed to be sealed or does it seal with the silicone glue.
Just received these two lovelies in the mail.
1. Assured (Dollar Tree) Kabuki brush, for applying makeup. I store it in a pill bottle.
2. Omega 63171 Pure Badger brush with stand.
3. Made Rite 303L, Badger Cased. Stored in a pill bottle from the pharmacy.
4. elf Kabuki brush. Yup, another soft makeup brush. VERY soft synthetic. Store it in a pill bottle.
5. Smart Shave 100% Pure Badger, wooden handle with a nice case.
6. AP ShaveCo Cashmere knot, Blue Lagoon handle. Stored in large pill bottle.
7. West Coast Shaving Honeycomb Green Tuxedo Synthetic Knot, SB WCS-106.
I bent a length of wire into a brush drying stand. If I feel like it, I'll make one from cedar or pine.

I received a brush from Elite Razors yesterday, and I used it today for an awesome result. It's a beautiful handle with a 26mm Mother Lode knot which feels very soft on the face and distributed lather very nicely. Plus, I think the color of the knot works really well with the handle.
Today, I received my order from Shavemac (I was starting to get nervous). It's the 167 shape in Jade with a 26mm synthetic fan knot. I'll probably get to use it for the first time on Monday morning. In addition, I realized the box could be used to keep open tucks of blades, so now I might avoid buying a storage container for them.
Just got this 22mm super silver-tip badger brush. Let the break in period begin

Grabbed a Vulfix 660S 20mm Super Badger Shaving Brush.
Nice looking brush. Can definitely see the Simpson influence.
I'll use it for today's shave and see how it performs.

I just got this Wild West Brushworks handle back from Milton at TurnNShave fixed with a 30mm Tip knot. Cannot WAIT to use it this weekend. It's the first empty handle I ever got, way back last summer, and the first I've finally gotten around to having knotted.
Nice. I got mine a bit ago but I got WT knots instead of HM. Oumo tend to glue the knots fairly deep so they have mid-high backbone. Good for HM but WT knots are quite scrubby at that loft. Enjoy the brush!I received my OUMO SHD handmaster from the frighting for 2020 series.
