Hi guys,
I've been shaving with a Merkur 34C HD around 5+ years. I'm using Feather blades. I'm looking for a new razor and blade.
my facial hair is pretty coarse, thick and I find it's not as smooth of a shave as it could be.
What I'm wondering is if this razor + blade combo is considered aggressive, not aggressive or something else?
I see razors on the market labeled as 'aggressive' or not but I don't really know what that means exactly. I know it's different for everyone but I want to see if there's a consensus here.
So would you say the Merkur 34C HD with a Feather blade is an aggressive shave, mild, super aggressive? The reason I'm asking is I want to know where this razor + blade combo stands in the market in terms of 'aggressiveness' to help me make a more informed purchasing decision. Maybe I just need different blades and the razor is fine, who knows. I'm going to try some different blades before I drop $100+ on a new razor.
