Dear gents in this forum,
In the past few years, I tended to search for an aggressive razors.
Hence, I switched to SE and am very impressed by its efficiency.
I have backed to DE for some months and pre-war Tech is almost my only razor.
When shaving with pre-war Tech, I do not pay much attention, but its still gives me 15+hrs. BBS.
What's your relaxing and (still) efficient DE razor?

I love my Rockwell 6s and get such an effortless/smooth shave. Lately I use only the 4/2 plate and there's absolutely no irritation at all. Leaves my face smooth as silk.

In general, any razor without positive blade exposure is relaxing to shave with (no focus needed). My go-to experience for this is a Karve razor with a B plate, a real zero blade exposure while still being efficient enough.

The Blackbird for me. Although it has blade feel and exposure, the shaving angle is very intuitive to me and is a relaxing shaver for me.

Tech with straight slots ( post war?) and Star razor. Close enough with the Star being a bit more efficient but still fairly mild.

Pre-War Tech, but 1970 Tech and RFB Tech also work great. iKon 102 Slant is very smooth, but the head is a bit big.

On the higher end, at least as smooth are my Tatara Masamune SB and my ATT S1 SB slant. Each of these guys has a OC baseplate too, and they’re a bit more efficient but not so smooth. Matter of mood and taste. The handling of both is a real joy.
