Identifying 2 Gillette DE Razors

Hi Guys,

I’m relatively new to the DE razor world and would like some help identifying the 2 Gillette’s I’ve recently picked up -

Unfortunately the first Razors guard is bent. Do you think this is salvageable?

Cheers,
Sean

Place the head over open vise jaws with a guard on each jaw.
Tap the bent guard back into flat shape with rawhide or plastic or wooden mallet
Easy peasy!

Techs are excellent razors that provide smooth, mild shaves. Your English Tech, if you repair it, will give you a slightly more aggressive shave than your USA Tech.

Enjoy!

I think this fits, Gents
Any idea on the type of shave and aggressiveness of the 60s/70s Tech?
Your aluminum handle tech appears to be an English Tech from the 60/70's, and is considered a mild razor.
The brass handle from your older English Tech will fit and make it slightly more aggressive.
I recommend using Feather blades in all of my Techs. YMMV

I have both model English Techs that you have.
As said above, with care and a leather mallet you should be able to straighten up the bent baseplate and have another nice razor.

Thank you for the detailed reply. Very informative.
