Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds to load Maggard 2-Band Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Barbershop aftershave.

I'm really enjoying the Fatip. I figured out the angle today and got a much smoother shave. It's still fairly aggressive and you can feel the blade, but this was a much nicer shave. Not gonna lie: I got this handle because it looked cool. But the grip is actually very good, and the balance and handling are excellent. The shaves have been really good too, close and comfortable.

I like the Infinity handle a lot, but at 26mm I'd expect the knot to have more backbone. I think they said they even have the knots set "deeper than usual", but it is by far the floppiest tuxedo knot I have. It makes it very soft, but painting strokes are a little more awkward, and it doesn't splay as well as other brushes I have, both natural and synthetic. Kinda weird, but it still generates a good lather and feels nice, so not a huge deal.
