Love this. Very interesting soap -- am guessing you did not pick it up soap at Walgreen's?

The Fenomeno brand already has several soaps in the collection. This soap is produced in Russia by Vyacheslav Yagudin. Very good product in its characteristics.

Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Honey Farm Designs/TGN Premium Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless blade still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Highlands aftershave.

A little Doctor Who influenced today (wrong Doctor but I don't have a safari suit and a white fedora), in honour of Sylvester McCoy's birthday, 7 was the best Doctor bar none.

Arko, Yintal razor ($9 Chinese AliExpress job that is actually a far nicer shaver than my Tech and my Rocket, though it isn't even in the same ballpark compared to my Old Types or my Gems), Aqua Velva (Euro).

I also used a pre-shave oil for the first time in years and it's the first time I've ever had trouble getting a decent lather from Arko. I now remember why I stopped using the damned stuff.

Aftershave - Brickell scented balm

Continuing the use of my Gillette, I was really surprised at how smooth setting 5 was on my first pass. I've found even 3 to be kind of aggressive, so maybe it was adjusting my angle or going back over areas less, but this shave was much smoother. Could definitely have been the Astra too, it was great in this razor.

This brush is fantastic. The synthetic knot has awesome backbone which I love, but the tips are even softer than a tuxedo knot. The bulb shape is nimble, and it's both a great face and bowl latherer.

Vision is one of my favorite soaps. The lather is great, and the scent is just phenomenal. Super minty and bracing. I cannot get enough of it. Great close shave.
