Big Storm (Tampa) Category 5 Belgian Quintuple at 15.6%. Too sweet. Too much, even in a 5 oz pour. Founder’s Double Trouble. Another big hitter, but knows its boundaries.
^^Looks good. ^^ Might be headed to Asheville in a couple months. Had no idea it was known as a circus city. Big Top Brewing plays on Sarasota being the winter home of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Saugatuck Blueberry Maple Stout. I asked for a sample and received a full pour. I would have been happy with an ounce. Also, Farmhouse as F$&k. Super funky and sour.
Mikkeller Brewing's That's A Paddlin' double IPA. Generally not my choice of style (IPAs), but I fell in love with the can artwork. It wasn't the assault to the senses that I had anticipated; pretty decent, actually.
KBS 2019 this and last evening, and two from Big Storm last evening: Cape Coral White Grapefruit IPA and their Marzen Lager Oktoberfest. We did not drink the entire liter! It was a freebie.
JDub’s (Sarasota) Passion Wheat. Light. Very light. I was thinking Bell Cow Milk Chocolate Porter, but didn’t specify. Glad I tried it. Won’t order it going forth. Might still get a Bell Cow! It’s a Labor Day Hurricane weekend! Cheers!
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I finished off my Founders All Day IPA the other day and picked up a couple tall cans of this. its what got me into IPA and Pale Ale. Still like to go back to it now and again
