Just got an update on my NEW SC re-plate. It should be incoming to my den later next week. Nickel plated over the old brass. I recently sold my 24k re-plated NEW SC, so this will be a welcome addition/replacement. Sweet!

The SC arrived yesterday, it's as per the photos I posted last week, it's to me at least a well plated razor, £40 for a replated razor including delivery to UK from Slovenia is very good.
I had an SC without any original finish left that cost me £23, to get it plated in the UK I was quoted between £48 and £60, that's by non specialist replaters, total cost without any post would be £71 to £83, which is silly money.
It's a very nice razor to use, a closer shave than my previous SC and LCs, very pleased with it.
