Had to take my New birth year Gillette 1959 E4 Fatboy for it's resurrected first shave with it's new owner (ME), cleaned up it looks fairly new & was handled & looked after very well by previous owners. The shave is a little different than my Gillette slim because it arches the blade more in the barn doors bay when closed(smooth). Results CCS,DFS,BBS and can't complain about those results on started setting 5 and changing to 6 on Gillette aggressiveness system on the fly. Alum block indicated no issues with skin irritation.Gillette 7 Oclock (2) and it performed well.

For the first shave it felt good in the hand and the shave was excellent and in my sweet spot for final results.

I like Silver Star blades, but I've never seen a Silver Star razor. Do you have pics please?
