If you're taking value for money into account, the Monsavon puck in France is amazing for less than a euro, it has it's detractors but for the price you can't beat it. It's also quintessential in that it's so ubiquitous in France, in much the same way that I imagine the Williams puck is in the US but it is of much better quality.
